Who are the Soaring Eagles?

lines

The Soaring Eagles are a 500+ cadet wing who are completely cadet-led. They teach, train, immerse, develop, equip, and prepare all cadets to be the most prepared 2d Lt’s in the U.S. Air Force & U.S. Space Force.

The beginning of your time in the program is spent absorbing and immersing in the skills needed to become officers such as drill & ceremonies, customs & courtesies, and leadership/followership traits.

The summer between your sophomore and junior year, cadets will travel to an Air Force Base for a 2-3 week evaluation of their skills from their GMC years.

Cadets round out their last 2 years of the program evaluating and leading cadets. These years focus on preparation for upcoming Active Duty.

Our cadets are given the opportunity to express and discover their interests with a variety of experiences. Our cadets participate in joint events with other ROTC branches, base visits, Alumni Cadet Exchange programs shadowing our Active Duty Alumni, being selected for Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) and Helicopter Training Next (HTN).
