DESIGNATION
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM
On behalf of the Commander, Colonel Greg Adams, we'd like to thank you for your interest in the AFROTC program and your interest in pursuing a commission in the US Air Force or US Space Force.
ORIENTATION OVERVIEW
New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) is a mandatory event for entry into Air Force ROTC. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know your fellow cadets in an “at-ease” environment and will be separated into 2 sessions. All events listed on the right are mandatory for all Embry Riddle Daytona students. If you have any questions or concerns, please call (386) 226-6880, Monday through Thursday between 0900-1600.

Housing
Early move-in is an accommodation made to ensure ease of transfer into AFROTC, and facilitate the schedule of NSOP. Early move-in begins on August 16, and can be applied for using the link below:

Morning Briefings
Morning briefings will give a comprehensive view of the program, what is expected, and how you can best prepare yourself for the coming semester.
Location: ROTC Center, Room 137 (first floor)
Time: August 17, 0600-1000

AFROTC Physical Fitness Screener
Location: ERAU Lacrosse Field
Items to Bring: Completed DODMERB or AFROTC Form 28 (can be printed below)
Uniform: Workout Attire
Time: August 20, 0630-0930​

For AS250 or Cross-University, NSOP will be conducted August 24, 0630-1030. Bring all listed supplies, prepare for Fitness Screener on the same day.​​​

STEP 1: Register for AF102 and AF102L

Register for both AF102 and AF102L classes through Campus Solutions on ERNIE (How to Register?)

​​Cross-town students, please consult with your university's academic advisor for registering into these classes​​

If you do not register for these classes, you will not be able to join AFROTC until the spring semester

STEP 2: Create WINGS account

Click on “Apply for AFROTC” (if you are a scholarship cadet and have already created your account, simply log in)

Follow the prompts and guides as requested

Log into your account and complete the required steps. DO NOT LEAVE ANY OF THE QUESTIONS/PROMPTS BLANK

Upload your documents as individual PDF files when prompted to upload your documents. Please ensure these documents reflect the correct information and date.

 You will have the ability to indicate what the form is-- if you do not see the form name select “other.”​

Upload your Selective Service Card (males 18 years+) *** If unsure of SS #, log on to https://www.sss.gov/verify/  , and verify. There will be a phone number to contact if unable to find you in the system.

 Review the application and submit.
